This is not surprising, but welcome news. Many key funding components were dependent on the city of Cincinnati providing their end of the bargain: the key $64 million bond issue. Had that not happen, this project would have likely died or been delayed for many years. With the passage, with no contingencies, it appears that the city is poised to receive the federal funding.
